Welcome to L.A. (feat. Nicky Shane)

Well i guess if you love Los Angeles, you may not like this song that much, but to be fair, we're not saying L.A. is terrible it's just not so pleasant.

sadly this song is not available on iTunes (Technical difficulties or something) but you can get it on amazon.com -> Link <- so take a listen and watch for oncoming traffic

Scherzi (feat. Peter Solodkin)

Well, Peter & I go back a ways, we met around 2000 and formed a deep friendship very quickly which has provided us the opportunity to work with each other off & on (and not as much as i would like) for the past dozen years, i consider him one of my best friends and also one of the best musicians to work with.

Peter has an uncanny memory and I've never met a guitar player that knows so many riff's and songs top of his head, and he delivers them supremely with a ton of soul and technique

I wrote this song (strangely enough) 20 years ago, or i should say started it 20 years ago, Scherzi has gone through many iterations with many good (and not so good) musicians, but i couldn't have dreamed of a better friend to put that finishing touch on it

take a listen

why are you still here then get a move on iTunes this way CLICKITY CLACK

Mars is Getting Closer (feat. Nicky Shane)

"Your love absolves from the bottom, take me down to the forgotten"

I love this song a lot, there is a sensual driving tensity to it (which of course has nothing to do with Nicky Shane and his lyrics and vocal melody)

I wrote the music for this about 2 years ago, at a time when i was going through much turmoil, but as with storms and their their aftermath sunshine prevails, life has a way of getting better after trauma and when we think that all hope is lost, we emerge stronger than before

enjoy (and head over to iTunes and grab one, i've heard it makes a great Christmas stocking stuffer)

Nickel For A Dime (feat. Jade Redd)

What can i say about Madalena, the beautiful voice, the great attitude, and the fun i have recording her, maybe all of the above

Madalena is a fantastic singer and supreme talented wordsmith, i can't get enough of working with her and i hope to work with her for a long time to come

enjoy, our first collaboration together that we released a few months back (and don't forget to get a copy from iTunes, before they run out because of holiday sales or something), you can listen to the full song here instead of the 90 second sample

we are working on some great new material as well which has me so excited i can't sleep for anticipation

Pretending You Care (feat. Nicky Shane)

This is absolutely my favorite collaboration ever, Nicky has an uncanny ability to weave words and melody better than anyone i've known (the warm voice doesn't hurt either)

the song is available on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic and somewhere on spotify, simply search for "Kiss A Toad" or "Nicky Shane"

Posting full songs on blog

After searching (and scratching head and other areas) figured out how i can post songs to stream on this blog, so that you guys can listen to the full song (instead of the 90 second preview) before you head over to iTunes (Link) and purchase 17 copies for your entire family

and while you are on iTunes don't forget to tell the whole world what a fantastic songwriter i am

Sade is undisputed

fantastic song in the new release by Sade, despite being away for a while and producing a few ok albums, this song puts her back where she belongs, way on top (check Carols Santana Lurking around there too)
