Welcome to L.A. (Remix)

Hey since we are having fun here and life is too short, i thought i'd mess around with "Welcome to L.A." a bit, give it a bit of a booty vibe, this is exclusive to you folks and not available anywhere else, if you like it please comment and if you don't like it you can go @#$$%&!#((^@

what am I saying, of course you love it, i can already hear you asking me to make it available on iTunes, Amazon etc. and I can't because Steven Spielberg just bought it (i wish)

have fun

Fun deviation from the norm.

Too much melodic movement for the beat (in this genera, in my opinion)
Too many high energy layers introduced too quickly (try Moby for examples of progressive introduction of layers)
Choose "dirtier" samples for the synth notes
Slow it down by about 15bps. You're at 144 now... too fast. (try 120 to 130?)
Harmonica solo doesn't go well, just cut it.
Listen to Underworld's "8 Ball" (a song)
Listen to Underworld's album called 100 days off, and Deadmau5's albums Get Scraped (old school style) and Deadmau5's 4x4=12 album (newer).
Also listen to Booka Shade's "In White Rooms" and "Mandarin Girl"
If you want direct access to these you can use my music server to stream them.

You've got to mess with your sounds a bit, like I said, dirtier. The guys's voice is not quiiiiite right for the song.

But it has some kind of potential:)

The Underworld sound is most like the one you're going for.
Electronic guys only get good when they start customizing their sounds.
